Dr. Erin Knickerbocker

DVM

Dr. Erin Knickerbocker grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University. Since graduating in 2020, she has spent six years in small animal general practice in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Matthews, North Carolina, caring for dogs, cats, and exotic pets. She is excited to continue her journey as a veterinary behavior resident with Southeast Animal Behavior & Training.

Dr. Knickerbocker has long been fascinated by the unique ways animals communicate and interact with the world around them. Her decision to specialize in veterinary behavior was further inspired by helping her senior dog, Aria, through a complex behavioral and medical journey. She enjoys partnering with families to better understand their pets and develop compassionate, individualized treatment plans that help both pets and the people who love them.

Outside of work, Dr. Knickerbocker enjoys exploring the outdoors, attending music festivals, and visiting Disney parks with her fiancé, Chris. She shares her home with two dogs: Aria, her beloved senior mixed breed, and Ash, a carefree rescue from the streets of Las Vegas. Clients often know her simply as "Dr. Knick(s)," a nickname first given to her grandfather, a pediatrician, and one she is proud to carry on in her own veterinary career.
